Our branch located in Winchmore Hill, North London is the first Home Care Preferred care agency in the UK and a unique concept. The premier branch in Winchmore Hill has offices and a retail shop where we stock a wide range of independent living equipment.
From our shop customers can have demonstrations of equipment and can order thousands of products from our ever-expanding catalogue. Customers return time and time again and purchase items such as wheelchairs, walking sticks, bathing aids and of course wide fitting shoes and slippers from our range of Cosyfeet and Sandpiper. Friendly and impartial advice is always available from our retail manager or one of our advisors. Our retail service received “Retailer of the year” awards two years running and this is a testament to the quality of service and products we supply.
Home Care Preferred provide a “One stop shop” concept which means people can call on us for care services, equipment, advice and “signposting” to other services.
Potential clients are welcome to visit our offices to discuss possible care and support needs. We have a comfortable meeting room where a member of the management care team will happily explain the levels of support we are able to offer.
Our shop and offices are open: Monday to Friday 930am to 5.30pm and on Saturday from 10pm to 4pm.
We are also able to meet people by appointment outside of these hours to discuss our services. Meetings can take place at our offices or in the person’s home or at a hospital or clinic.
