Our Amazing Person of The Week this week goes to the inspiring Frank Chester. On his 100th birthday the Worcestershire local will be opening his card from the Queen, eating cake, and working a three hour shift at his local food bank in Malvern where he volunteers 7 hours a week. He says, ‘I don’t feel 100..usually, but my body tells me I’m not as young as I used to be’. When asked how he still manages to volunteer at his age the centurion states, ‘I just do what I can, and when I can’t I sit down’. Mary Williams, Frank’s Team Leader at the food bank, has nothing but praise for the selfless gentleman: ‘ He brings joy to...

Jean first started yoga after seeing an advert in her local area. She credits yoga with changing her life, saying that it has “helped cure aches and pains.” Aside from easing pain, Jean also says the yoga has helped her posture, balance, concentration, flexibility and stamina.
