Live-in Care for Younger People

Care for younger people and adults

Providing an independent lifestyle

Home Care Preferred can support adults of all ages and help them to achieve their aspirations whilst living in their own home.

Whether it’s assistance with visiting places of education, regular involvement in a hobby, or socialising with friends, our live in support assistants are available and committed to providing the right level of support to promote independent living for people.

All of our independent living services are built entirely around the individual and we try to keep life as normal as possible.

We look to assist our clients with their everyday lives, encouraging independence and control.

Our friendly support assistants develop good relationships with our clients and work with parents and families to ensure the best possible outcomes are being achieved.

Each client has individual needs and that’s why all of our services are bespoke to the individual.

Our team are trained to provide a range of care that is required. They can help clients manage medication, and assist with most issues relating to day to day living. Personal care, such as bathing, getting dressed and ready for bed, can be provided too.

In addition, our live in support assistants can help with housekeeping duties  such as vacuuming round the home, laundry and cleaning.  Wherever possible the client will be encouraged to participate.

Our support assistants can help clients attend, hospital appointments, college or simply to visit friends and family.

Matching our clients to live in support assistants is all part of the service and we like them to share similar interests.

Ensuring the right level of support is provided whilst still nurturing independence is achieved by detailed support plans and regular reviews with our client, their families, other health care professionals and of course team members from Home Care Preferred. We want to give all the help that is needed and encourage the client to have as much independence as their circumstances allow.
