Fun at the Firs Farm Festival!

    Home Care Preferred had an amazing time at the Firs Farm Festival last weekend! We were so pleased to be there offering free wheelchair loans for the day to festival go-ers that found it difficult to move around with ease. There were lots of fun things to do including a Zumba class by Sonja Tonge which you can see in the video above. It was a great success and we would like to thank Toni Guiver and her team for putting on such a wonderful event and for having us as part of their day. On Saturday 21st of October we were honoured to host our second fundraising event in aid of a charity close to our hearts, Alzheimer’s Research UK. The charity is making pioneering steps in devising treatments to prevent, slow down and ultimately cure dementia. Having experienced the disease in both a professional and personal setting Home Care Preferred are delighted to be able to support their work where we can. Our ‘We’ll Meet Again’ World War 2 musical was enjoyed by young and old alike – many donned their finest 1940’s inspired gear and really got into the spirit of the evening.
