Well Meet Again

We’ll Meet Again’ WW2 Musical Event in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK

August 8, 2017 12:39 pm

Following last year’s extremely successful sell-out event, Home Care Preferred are excited to announce we will be hosting another ‘We’ll Meet Again’ musical evening this October in collaboration with the talented Compton Players, with all profits being donated to the wonderful charity Alzheimer’s Research UK. It’s set to be a great night filled with all your favourite songs, fashion and stories from war time 1940’s. Last year the spectacle entertained the whole family with Grandparents, Grandchildren and Parents alike all getting into the spirit of the evening – waving their union jack flags and singing along to the much loved and remembered tunes of World War Two.   The evening includes a full fish & chip supper, and of course...

Summer BBQ Success

July 11, 2017 6:05 pm

At Home Care Preferred we appreciate the hard work that our team members put in to ensure we are an award-winning business with our client’s happiness and well-being at its heart. While we are first and foremost colleagues, we are proud to have developed a ‘family’ ethos and we love to socialise as a team outside of work. With summer upon us (and the sun actually shining) it seemed only right to thank our team, friends, family and business associates for their hard-work and on-going support with a summer shin-dig – so that’s what we did! Our ever generous Managing Director Ken allowed us all to descend upon his lovely home for a Saturday filled with food, drink, laughter, music...

We are providing person-centred support to more individuals than ever before, allowing them to stay safe in their own homes, maintaining independence and dignity, and with peace of mind for them and their loved-ones that...

Festive Fun at Home Care Preferred

December 15, 2016 11:11 am

The Home Care Preferred Office got well and truly in the festive spirit this week when we spent ‘Christmas morning’ with our work family. Festive garments were adorned, carols were played and many a mince pie and cake was consumed. It was a lovely opportunity to sit down and celebrate all Home Care Preferred has achieved this year, and to thank each other with Secret Santa gifts – all of which were very gratefully received. The Office Team are just a very small part of Home Care Preferred and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Support Assistants for the incredible work they do enabling and supporting our clients year round – they are the...

November 7, 2016 10:17 am

With an increasingly ageing population – and an ever tighter government budget – the cost of care, and the type of care available, is fast becoming an extremely prevalent topic. At Home Care Preferred we are passionate about ensuring the public has access to all the care information and options available to them, and regularly host free informative presentations which are always deemed very successful – and our Care Information Seminar on Thursday 27th October was no exception. Hosted in collaboration with George Ttouli, founder of Burlington Wealth Management, the seminar covered the importance of wills, lasting powers of attorney (and the difficulties you may face if they are not drafted and put in place), along with the different care...
