Our team leaders assist our care manager with the day to day operations.
You will supervise and assist a team of support assistants and help them deliver a high level of care to our clients. The position requires a high level of resilience and the ability to communicate with people from all walks of lives. You will share our passion for the care sector and will want our clients to experience an excellent standard of support. This means sharing our values and it is essential that you are passionate about promoting the dignity and aspirations of each client.
Our customers include people with a wide range of emotional and physical needs including people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health difficulties. The position is filled with challenges but is a very rewarding and exciting role.
You must have a logical approach towards your work and be pragmatic when necessary. You will enjoy a close working relationship with the care manager and together with your team you will grow the business and continuously maintain and improve the service. There will be plenty of opportunities to use your initiative and your problem solving skills to manage the day to day service. A calm approach to work is essential combined with a “can do” attitude.
We offer continuous training and personal development to keep you up to date with best practice. Applicants must be experienced and have woked in either a care agency, care home or similar.
