As a care coordinator with Home Care Preferred you will experience the special privilege of developing quality and rewarding relationships with your clients and colleagues. You will be one of the key team members in our busy office and will be responsible for the smooth coordination of care services.
A calm and pragmatic is required and matching skill sets, personalities with the support of the team leaders is key to this role.
Our care coordinators master our people friendly software system and roster our care team and ensure they arrive and leave clients at the correct times. The role can be challenging and your people skills and personable manner will assist with any situation that arises.
Excellent organisational and good IT skills are essential to make sure that each client receives the care and support that they require on time.
The role requires the ability to develop positive working relationships with clients, their families and of course the Home Care Preferred team. You will often deal with queries from clients about their care and support. This requires a good understanding of client needs and an assuring and friendly telephone manner.
Our service is 7 days a week so our care coordinators may be required to work some weekends, evenings and be part of an call system.
