Home Care Preferred Barnet has recently been named as one of the Top 20 Home Care providers in London 2019 by Homecare.co.uk.

Homecare.co.uk is a leading UK Home Care review website with more than 9,000 Providers and has more than 2 million visits on its site per year. The homecare.co.uk Top 20 Home Care Awards 2019 highlight the most recommended Home Care Providers in each region of the UK and the Top 20 Home Care Groups in the UK. The Awards are based on the Review Score ranging from Overall Standard, Staff, Care/Support, Management, Treated with Dignity and Value for Money.

The team were ecstatic with the announcement recently and to top it off, we also just had a Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment and obtained an overall rating of “GOOD”. The management would like to thank all team members who have made this possible and for all their efforts in ensuring that the clients under their care were appropriately cared for and treated with compassion and dignity.

We always believe that the key to providing a good service starts from the ground-up by providing the appropriate training for the team members. We regularly work closely together to ensure that customer satisfaction begins with the team members and that these positive attitudes will help in promoting a better level of service to the clients as well

We have modernised the care delivery system and by pioneering a new cloud-based technology, meaning that the company works on a virtually paper-free basis. The use of tablets and smart phones allows care staff to complete their record keeping in a fraction of the time and gives management the ability to track the progress of the clients’ needs as well as to consistently monitor the level of service the care staff are providing. The use of a planning software also allows for a weekly time sheet to be given to the clients to reassure them of the agreed upon time schedule and the care staff who will be taking the shift, thus alleviating any unnecessary anxiety. The result of this technology is considerably more time spent with clients as opposed to writing up paperwork, and an unparalleled level of responsiveness to clients’ needs.
