Sometimes it’s difficult to find fun local activities to attend, so we at Home Care Preferred have compiled a list for you! Please see below some of the activities, clubs and classes you can do locally:

 

Active Life Club

Meet new people and have a hot meal

Every Friday at 9.30am

Memory Lane Café and Carers Club

A self-funding club offering fun and laughter for anyone suffering with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. They provide tea, coffee, cakes, snacks, entertainment, games and support for carers.

Every Friday 10.30am – 1.30pm

St Monica’s Parish Social Club

6 Cannon Hill

Cost: £2.50 – must come with a carer.

 

Singing for the brain

Singing group where you can meet new people in a friendly, fun and social environment. These groups are based around the principles of music therapy, which include vocal warm-ups and singing a huge range of familiar old and new songs for everyone’s tastes

The Ruth Winston Centre

Has over 60 classes and activities for anyone over the age of 50. They also have an on-site hair salon!
