Home Care Preferred Chooses Their Charity of The Year 2018

This year, we will be fundraising for Headway – The Brain Injury Association. We have many upcoming events and challenges for you to take part in. We have chosen Headway as every 90 seconds, someone is admitted to hospital with a brain injury. Currently there are over 1 million people living with the long term effects if a brain injury in the UK. A brain injury can challenge every aspect of someone’s life- Walking, talking thinking & even feeling being some to name. The losses can be severe and permanent. For most, it can mean losing both the life you once lived and the person you once were. Headway help people to rebuild their lives, relearn lost skills and regain a degree of independence.

We are very excited to have chosen Headway as our charity of the year especially with us having our own specialist department for acquired brain injury care here at Home Care Preferred.
