Home Care Preferred’s Annual Christmas Awards
December 12, 2016 5:24 pmSaturday 10th of December marked another evening of celebrations for Home Care Preferred. To welcome in the festive season, and celebrate the hard work of our brilliant team and the wider community, Home Care Preferred hosted its second annual awards ceremony.
The ceremony recognised members of our own team as well as local figures in the community who are striving to make Enfield and the surrounding area a better, more inclusive, place.
The nominees were voted for by their fellow colleagues, service users and their families, as well as healthcare professionals and prominent figures in the local community. The feedback we received was both lovely and moving.
Our annual get together was kicked off by the inspiring Mr Javed Moore – a heroic figure who tirelessly encourages young people to pursue their dreams and reach their potential. Despite living with cerebral palsy Javed exhibits more energy and motivation than anyone we have ever met, and delivered a speech to all attendees that left everyone awe struck. Javed shares Home Care Preferred’s vision of person-centred care that allows individuals to feel supported while living independently and with dignity. It is this dedication to community that led us to award him the ‘Most Inspirational Figure in the Community’ award, which was presented to Javed by local MP Mr David Burrowes. We can’t wait to work closer with Javed in the future – watch this space.
All award winners and nominees are listed below – well done to everyone, all our team are winners in our eyes and provide incredible support and companionship to our clients throughout the year, thank you!
