Care Information Seminar Success

November 7, 2016 10:17 am Published by

With an increasingly ageing population – and an ever tighter government budget – the cost of care, and the type of care available, is fast becoming an extremely prevalent topic.

At Home Care Preferred we are passionate about ensuring the public has access to all the care information and options available to them, and regularly host free informative presentations which are always deemed very successful – and our Care Information Seminar on Thursday 27th October was no exception.

Hosted in collaboration with George Ttouli, founder of Burlington Wealth Management, the seminar covered the importance of wills, lasting powers of attorney (and the difficulties you may face if they are not drafted and put in place), along with the different care options available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. The seminar was concluded with a presentation surrounding the various ways to fund care, and the benefits you may be entitled to.

All who attended came away feeling reassured, and were able to question the experts further over a free buffet lunch.

We would like to thank George for his participation in the event, and to Enfield Golf Club for accommodating us and catering for our guests. Home Care Preferred aim to provide events similar to this on a regular basis, and also offer presentations on care options and dementia awareness for businesses and small groups.
