The registered manager provides a vital role at a Home Care Preferred branch. If you are looking for a career with a developing company then a registered manager position could be the role for you.
The manager leads a large team of support assistants and management team of about 12 people. The position requires a high level of resilience and the ability to communicate with people from all walks of lives. You will share our passion for the care sector and will want our clients to experience an excellent standard of support. This means sharing our values and it is essential that you are passionate about promoting the dignity and aspirations of each client.
Our customers include people with a wide range of emotional and physical needs including care to older people; people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health difficulties. The position is filled with challenges but is a very rewarding and exciting role.
You must have a logical approach towards your work and be pragmatic when necessary. You will enjoy a close working relationship with the Managing Director of the company and together with your team you will grow the business and continuously maintain and improve the service. There will be plenty of opportunities to use your initiative and your problem solving skills to manage the day to day service. A calm approach to work is essential combined with a “can do” attitude.
We offer continuous training and personal development to keep you up to date with best practice. Applicants must be qualified and have experience of managing either a care agency, care home or similar.
